Venezuela's Interim President, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that the people of Venezuela and the region deserve peace and dialogue rather than war.

Moreover, she called on the U.S. administration to cooperate within the framework of international law to promote lasting social coexistence.

Rodríguez added that seeking a balanced international relationship based on mutual respect between Venezuela and the United States is a priority for the interim government.

Moreover, she stressed the importance of building foundations for mutual cooperation, away from threats or conflicts.

The acting president further explained that the government is committed to peace and peaceful coexistence, aiming to provide a secure environment for citizens free from any external threats.

On the other hand, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States needs "full access" to oil and other natural resources in Venezuela. According to Reuters, this stance reflects Washington’s hardening position regarding the future of the energy-rich nation.
