Vatican Foreign Minister (FM) Pietro Parolin commented on that the visit of Pope Francis to Bahrain, where he will participate in the "Bahrain Forum for Dialogue: East and West for Human Coexistence".
In an interview with L'Osservatore Romano and Vatican News Radio, Parolin said that Pope Francis's participation in Bahrain's forum is a symbol of 'Unity' and 'Peace' amid a world marked by tension, opposition, and conflict.
It is worth mentioning, Egypt's Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, will head next Thursday to Bahrain to participate in "Bahrain's Forum for Dialogue: East and West for Human Coexistence” forum, set to be held on November 3-4, under the patronage of Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The event will be attended by about 200 prominent symbols, leaders, and representatives of religions around the world, in addition to intellectual and media figures.
It is scheduled that, the Grand Imam will hold official meetings with the Bahraini king and Pope Francis as well as a number of religious leaders and symbols participating in the conference.
