Uzbekistan has introduced a visa-free regime for citizens of Qatar, the Uzbek Justice Ministry said.
The ministry and Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev have signed a decree "On introducing a visa-free regime for citizens of Qatar."
According to the document, nationals of Qatar can stay in Uzbekistan for up to 30 days without a visa.
It is noteworthy that the decision was taken before the visit of the Emir of Qatar to Uzbekistan on the fifth of June.
Mirziyoyev and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani are holding talks in Samarkand today.
