Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his appreciation for the results of his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the latter's visit to Tashkent.
According to "Russia Today," Mirziyoyev stated, "I am very satisfied with the outcomes of our very candid and fruitful discussions. I would like to deeply thank you, dear Vladimir Putin, for coming with the heads of all the main Russian ministries and departments. We thank you for your stance and your support for our proposals."
He pointed out that in the modern world, considering national interests, countries must fully cooperate with partners who respect them and, most importantly, are ready to take active joint practical steps.
Mirziyoyev added, "I am convinced that the meaningful meetings and fruitful outcomes of President Vladimir Putin's state visit to Uzbekistan will strengthen Uzbek-Russian relations, and our comprehensive strategic partnership and friendship."
