Users from around the world have reported issues with social networking sites Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp.
The Facebook problem appears to be specific to certain features, including posts and photo uploads.
According to the tracking website Down Detector issues are being reported globally. Millions of users from across the globe, including Europe, the US, Middle East, South America, and Japan were hit with issues.
In the meantime, a similar issue appeared on Whats App. Photos, videos and voice messages are not efficient.
Pages load normally, however, photos fail to load on the platform, leading to international disappointment.
Facebook has acquired 80 companies, including Whats App, and Instagram. The Whats App purchase was estimated at $16 billion.
The social network share price grew by %1.13 during today's trading session to end at $197,20.
