US Vice President Kamala Harris arrived Sunday afternoon in Ghana for a three-day visit.
The Ghana News Agency reported that Harris arrived at Kotoka International Airport in the capital, Accra, on a visit scheduled to focus on issues of economic development, climate change and food security.
Harris will give a speech at the Black Star Square on Tuesday. She will also meet women entrepreneurs in Accra and visit the Cape Coast Castle.
After the end of her visit to Ghana, Harris will go to Tanzania and then to Zambia, amid the United States' efforts to deepen relations with Africa.
