US Urges Citizens to Leave Lebanon

The US Embassy in Beirut has advised its citizens to leave Lebanon or be prepared to stay in their current locations for an extended period.

In a video posted on the embassy's X platform account, Rena Bitter, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, stated that Washington is highly focused on Lebanon and that the State Department's top priority is the safety and security of American citizens abroad.
