Deputy Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh confirmed Thursday that the United States is not seeking a large-scale conflict with the Russian Federation.
“We do not seek a large-scale regional conflict, and we do not seek war with Russia,” Singh said in a press conference, stressing that the United States will continue to support Ukraine, but does not intend to send its forces to participate in the conflict.
"It is the United States, not Russia, that destroyed the international security system, and is pushing the entire world toward an all-out conflict,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday in a speech to members of the Russian armed forces and Russians informing them of incidents in the special military operation area.
