U.S. Representative to the United Nations (UN) Linda Thomas Greenfield said on Thursday that Russia is punishing the Ukrainian people, explaining that the Russian brutal war is ‘unacceptable’.
In her speech at the UN Security Council (UNSC), Greenfield added that the Ukrainian nuclear plants are threatened, noting that the effects of the war have gone beyond Ukraine's borders.
On his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that UNSC must condemn the Russian aggression against our country and their targeting of infrastructure.
The Ukrainian president added that Those who waged this war must be held accountable.
