During the "Annual Strategic Dialogue between the United States and Austria," the two countries discussed global and regional security, crisis management efforts, foreign information manipulation and malign influence, cybersecurity and ransomware, energy security, and sanctions enforcement in light of the Russian war on Ukraine, as well as relations with the Middle East.

A statement on the U.S. Department of State website mentioned that the parties also addressed shared challenges related to the People's Republic of China, mutual concerns about racism, anti-Semitism, and anti-Muslim hatred, the protection of human rights in light of new and emerging technologies, disarmament and non-proliferation policies, and mutual support for European integration in the Western Balkans.

The United States and Austria expressed their unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. They reaffirmed their ongoing commitment to providing political, financial, economic, humanitarian, and diplomatic support to Ukraine and its people for as long as necessary.

The two nations also discussed the situation in the Middle East, reiterating their shared commitment to seeking a peaceful settlement in Gaza, emphasizing the joint commitment to Israel's security, the need to release all remaining detainees held by Hamas, addressing the dire humanitarian conditions, ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid, and protecting civilians.

The strategic dialogue focused on shared interests and values and a commitment to enhancing cooperation on a wide range of issues.
