US Approves $3.5 Bln Missile Sale to Poland

The United States has approved a missile sale to Poland valued at $3.5 billion. 

This significant arms deal was announced ahead of a scheduled meeting between US President Joe Biden and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the White House, as reported by the Agence France-Presse.

In compliance with US law, the deal, which has been formally communicated to Congress, includes the sale of long-range air-to-ground missiles worth $1.77 billion and medium-range air-to-air missiles valued at $1.69 billion, according to a statement from the US State Department.
