The White House announced on Wednesday, that Washington will provide Ukraine with $20 million in new military assistance.
It is worth mentioning that, the European Union is preparing a contingency plan worth up to €20 billion ($22.08 billion) to finance Ukraine, according to Financial Times (FT).
The report states that the debt-financed plan will surpass Hungary in releasing funds for Kyiv quickly.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Finance had previously announced receiving an additional $1.34 billion in funding as part of the World Bank's General Expenditure Support Project to enhance administrative capacities.
