UNRWA: We are horrified by Israel's distortion of the Palestinians' reputation.. Video

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) expressed “dismay” at the “smear” campaigns targeting Palestinians and those who help them.

This came in a speech by UNRWA Commissioner Philippe Lazzarini, the contents of which the UN agency published on its account on the “X” platform.

The UN official stated that he was "appalled by the smear campaigns targeting the Palestinians and those who provide them with aid."

Lazzarini added: “As Commissioner-General of UNRWA, I experienced this more than once, because our agency is also one of the targets in this war.”

The Ministry of Health had announced that the number of martyrs had risen to more than 19,088, and the wounded to about 54,450, since the start of the comprehensive Israeli occupation aggression against our people in Gaza and the West Bank.
