Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of UNRWA, said that the binding ruling of the International Court of Justice indicates Israel's criminality, its violation of all international norms and laws, and its cause of the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out that this catastrophic situation is man-made. However, there is still the possibility of resolving the crisis and taking positive action to save innocent civilians.
Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of UNRWA, added that more than 2️ million people live in deteriorating conditions in Gaza, and its people are facing an unprecedented famine in less than 6 months.
The Commissioner-General of UNRWA said that member states should exert more pressure to implement the court ruling.
He stressed that countries that stopped funding UNRWA must reconsider their decisions.
