The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that thousands of displaced people are standing in long lines for hours waiting for food, and with supplies running low, many of them are leaving without getting anything.
The agency appealed to the international community and said: Time is running out as needs continue to increase rapidly and dramatically, and there will be no solution to this humanitarian crisis except through a ceasefire now.
The agency said: The Israeli occupation authorities are killing a child every hour in the Gaza Strip.
The agency added in a statement issued today, Tuesday: "There is no place for children, since the beginning of the war, 14,500 children have been reported killed in Gaza according to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)."
UNRWA stressed that there is no justification for killing children in the Gaza Strip, and that all of the children who survived "have been physically and psychologically scarred."
It pointed out that children are deprived of education, as "boys and girls in Gaza spend their time searching through the rubble."
“Time is running out for these children,” she warned. “They are losing their lives, their futures and most of their hopes.”
