A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces announced that an unidentified drone entered Jordanian airspace and crashed over the Ma'in area in Madaba Governorate.
The Jordanian military source said in a statement on Friday that falling debris caused a fire in the forested area where the drone crashed, but no casualties were reported.
The source noted that specialized teams from the Jordanian Armed Forces and Civil Defense teams extinguished the fire and began inspecting the accident site.
The Jordanian Armed Forces called on citizens to avoid approaching the site and to report any suspicious objects so that field teams can deal with them to ensure their safety and that of their families.
