CAIRO, April 2 (SEE)- On the occasion of the World Awareness Autism Day, (SEE) reviews renowned scientists and public figures who suffered one day from autism.
As autism is not a disease but a growth and nerve disorder that people can live with, autistic people can be super genius and here are some examples.

Albert Einstein.. Pillar of Modern Physics
He was a German theoretical physicist who developed the theory of relativity and was one of the two pillars of modern physics.
He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his services to theoretical physics, especially his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect.
Einstein suffered from a slight autism degree and despite that he had no learning difficulties; he had isolation tendencies and used to repeat the same words several times when he was young.
At an older age, he used to give incomprehensible lectures, and after his death, the autopsy revealed that his brain had clear autism signs.
His case seemed to be a genetic disorder as most of his relatives suffered from different autism degrees.
Thomas Edison.. America's Greatest Inventor
Thomas Alva Edison was one of the famous American inventors and businessmen in 19th century who developed many devices in fields of electric power generation, mass communication, sound recording and motion pictures.

Despite his genius which drove him to obtain more than 1,093 patents, he suffered from autism.
Some people thought he was mentally retarded, but his mother stood by his side and was his only supporter till he became a public figure.
Isaac Newton..Motion Law's Inventor
He was an English mathematician, physicist, astronomer, theologian, author, and a key figure in the scientific revolution.
He formulated laws of motion and universal gravitation and had many contributions in the field of optics and foundations of classical mechanics.

Regretfully, he was suffering from autism disorder, hence he couldn’t easily adapt to people and he used to speak very little.
It is remarkable how he used to work for long times and forget even to eat, also, he was seen while giving lectures for an empty hall with no single student.
At age of 50, he suffered from depression and Paranoia.
Ludwig Beethoven..Unique Composer
He was a German composer, pianist and a crucial figure in the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras in classical music.

Despite being autistic, he composed his first piece of music when he was 8 years old and he remained a crucial limestone for music over the centuries.
Philip Hopkins ..Distinct Artist
Sir Philip Anthony Hopkins is a distinct actor, director and producer who won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1992 and was nominated for three times.

He is suffering from Asperger's syndrome; one of autism degrees.
Alexis Wineman..Pageant Queen
She was a pageant queen who won the "America's Choice" award at the Miss America 2013 pageant.
Wineman detected her autism disorder at age of 11 and she was the first known autistic contestant to compete in such contest.
