UN Envoy to Libya Abdoulaye Bathily stressed that Libya belongs to all Libyans and should not be held hostage by any group or individual.
This come during his meeting with more than 20 representatives of the security and military authorities in western Libya.
"After 13 years of conflict and instability in Libya, the Libyan people deserve a better life. It is time to adopt a vision that allows the youth of this country to realize their full potential," Buthelile added, calling on them to fulfill their duty to establish peace and stability in Libya, heal the wounds of the past, and rebuild the country.
On their part, representatives of the security and military authorities in western Libya demanded a more comprehensive political process that would lead to sustainable solutions to the crisis in the country.
