The United Nations has urged for $4.1 billion in aid for Sudan and stated that the crisis in the country requires global attention.

Sudan has recently experienced an internet blackout, and many attribute it to the paramilitary group, Rapid Support Forces (RSF), who have been battling with the country's army in the ongoing 10-month civil war. However, RSF has denied any involvement in the blackout.

According to NetBlocks, an organization that monitors internet freedom, there has been a recent collapse of internet connectivity in Sudan.

A group of Sudanese hacktivists targeted Uganda for welcoming the RSF leader, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
