UK's King Charles III is planning to head to France next month to attend the ceremonies of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla are expected to attend a ceremony at the British Normandy Memorial at Ver-sur-Mer on June 6, Buckingham Palace said on Friday.
It is expected that The Prince of Wales, Prince William, will attend the international ceremony at Omaha Beach near Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, joining heads of state and veterans from around the world.
The First in the line of the throne will also attend the Juno Beach Centre in Courseulles-sur-Mer in Canada.
