Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Italian Prime Minister (PM) Giorgia Meloni signed a bilateral security cooperation agreement between the two countries.
"Our meetings with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni are always meaningful... Today we have an important result... We signed a bilateral security cooperation agreement between Ukraine and Italy," Zelensky posted on 'X'.
Moreover, Zelensky noted that this agreement lays a solid foundation for a long-term security partnership between both countries.
The two sides also discussed providing further support to Ukraine within the context of Italy's presidency of the G7.
