Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that 9,200 Russian soldiers have been killed in the fighting so far, since Moscow announced the launching of military operations in Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
Zelensky said that Russia is deliberately targeting Ukrainian infrastructure, noting that "the imposition of a no-fly zone is the only guarantee to prevent Russia from bombing nuclear infrastructure," Ukrainian media reported on Friday.
The Ukrainian president called on the Russian people to protest against the war, and against the decisions of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
