Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov thanked the Danish leadership for its unwavering support to Ukraine and for the additional $2.6 billion in military aid.
"Grateful to Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Acting Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen and the Government of Denmark for approving an additional USD 2.6 billion of military aid for Ukraine to strengthen the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian army," Reznikov tweeted.
"Thank you to the people of Denmark for your unwavering support," he added.
It is worth mentioning that, late May, Denmark launched a special investment fund for Ukraine worth a total of DKK 1 billion (about $133 million).
