Palestine has received its first shipment of food aid from Ukraine as part of the "Grains from Ukraine" program.
A vessel carrying 1,000 tons of wheat flour arrived, marking the beginning of substantial support for the Palestinian people.
According to a statement issued by the Ukrainian Embassy in Cairo on Thursday, Ukraine will deliver a total of 7,000 tons of wheat flour and 750 tons of cooking oil in three phases.
This initial shipment is expected to assist over 100,000 Palestinian families.
The Ukrainian Embassy highlighted that this food aid initiative also extends to several Asian and African countries, including Yemen and Sudan.
This underscores Ukraine’s role as a reliable partner in ensuring global food security.
The "Grains from Ukraine" program aims to address the growing need for food supplies in regions affected by conflict and crisis.
By providing essential foodstuffs, Ukraine is reinforcing its commitment to humanitarian support and global food stability.
