Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Ivanovich Kuleba requested the United States of America (USA) more weapons and the imposition of new sanctions against Russia, after the continuation of military operations against Russia.
In a statement, Kuleba said that he and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed US support for Ukraine.
The Ukrainian minister added that he emphasized that Ukraine yearns for peace, but as long as it is under the ongoing attack by Russia, Kiev needs more sanctions and weapons.
The Russian forces have continued their military operation on Ukrainian soil since last Thursday, to enter today, Tuesday, its sixth consecutive day.
This operation compelled a large number of countries in the world to impose significant economic sanctions on Moscow, in addition to placing Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the lists of sanctions.
