The Ukrainian army announced that 35,850 Russian soldiers had been killed since the start of the military operation.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said – in a statement reported by the Ukrenform news agency today, Monday, that the Ukrainian forces managed to destroy 1,532 tanks, 3,659 armored personnel carriers, 764 artillery systems, 243 anti-aircraft systems, 217 aircraft, 184 helicopters and 630 operational and tactical drones.

On Saturday, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office announced that 339 children have been killed and 611 have been wounded in the country since the start of the Russian military operation on February 24.

“339 children were killed and 611 others were injured as a result of the Russian military operation in the country,” the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office stated on the Telegram, according to the Ukrainian (Ukrainform) news agency.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister (FM) Sergey Lavrov stressed on Monday that Moscow will not set artificial timetables to complete its “special military operation”, launched in Ukraine on February 24, by Victory Day on May 9.

In press remarks, Lavrov reiterated that the operation aims to “ensure the safety of civilians and make sure that there are no threats from Ukraine to civilians and Russia,” adding that the operational pace depends on the need to mitigate risks for civilians and Russian troops.
