Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, praised, Tuesday, the participation of Egypt in the Reading Challenge's seventh season.
He pointed out that more than 17 million Egyptian students took part in the competition.
Al Maktoum tweeted that Egypt celebrated its participation in the Reading Challenge, the biggest reading challenge in history, as more than 17 million students in 35 thousand schools participated in the challenge, adding that Egypt would stay an icon of the Arab world.

He asserted that Egypt is still the brightest center of literature and reading in the Arab world, thanking all officials in the Ministry of Education, and Al Azhar for their efforts in the competition.
