UAE, UK Discuss Latest Developments in Middle East

UAE Foreign Minister (FM) Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UK Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and United Nations of the United Kingdom Lord Tariq Ahmed discussed latest developments in the Middle East region and their repercussions on security and humanity.

The meeting also discussed efforts to reach a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza, ways to strengthen the global response to the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the Strip, as well as the importance of delivering humanitarian relief and medical aid to civilians in a safe and sustainable manner.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the UAE’s support for all regional and international efforts to reach a sustainable ceasefire, and the importance of ending extremism, tension and violence in the region in a way that contributes to providing protection for all civilians and providing the necessary humanitarian support to the brotherly Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering.
