The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reaffirmed the United Arab Emirates’ commitment to not allowing the use of its airspace, territory, or territorial waters for any hostile military actions against Iran, and to refraining from providing any form of logistical support related to such actions.
In a statement carried by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the ministry stressed that the UAE’s position is rooted in its firm belief that dialogue, de-escalation, adherence to international law, and respect for the sovereignty of states represent the most effective foundations for addressing current regional crises.
The statement reiterated the UAE’s longstanding approach of resolving disputes through diplomatic means, underscoring the country’s commitment to promoting stability, security, and peaceful coexistence in the region.
The UAE also emphasized the importance of avoiding actions that could further escalate tensions, reaffirming its role as a proponent of calm, constructive engagement, and international cooperation in the Middle East.
