UAE President Visits Ethiopia to Discuss Boosting Mutual Ties

United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Ethiopia, Friday, WAM reported.

The President of UAE was received by the Ethiopian Prime President Abiy Ahmed at Bole Addis Ababa International Airport, WAM added.

The visit of Al Nahyan targets deepening mutual ties between the UAE and Ethiopia.

It also aims to increase bilateral cooperation in various fields.

During the visit, Al Nahyan and his delegation will have various meetings with Ethiopian officials to discuss the opportunities for cooperation in various sectors such as agriculture, food security, energy, trade, investment, and technology.

The African country organized an official reception ceremony for Al Nahyan, including the national anthems of both the UAE and Ethiopia, alongside firing 21 artillery rounds.

Moreover, an air celebration by planes and a procession of military men were also organized to celebrate the visit of the UAE President.
