UAE & Kuwait Discuss Bilateral Ties

On the sidelines of the 33rd Arab League Summit in Manama, Bahrain, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, along with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, held discussions with Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait. 

The discussions aimed to bolster the flourishing bilateral relations that are being steered by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait.

During the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the historic ties between the UAE and Kuwait. 

Sheikh Mohammed praised Kuwait's pivotal role in promoting regional and global stability and its efforts to strengthen solidarity within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the broader Arab world.

The conversation also focused on exploring new pathways for cooperation across various sectors, emphasizing the need for tighter coordination. 

Both leaders discussed the vital role of the private sector in capitalizing on economic development opportunities in their respective countries.

Furthermore, they addressed several issues of mutual interest, including the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and their impact on regional and global security. 

They underscored the necessity of laying a groundwork for enduring peace and security in the region, and addressing challenges to meet the aspirations of their people.
