The Fujairah Government Media Office in the United Arab Emirates announced on Friday that the competent authorities in the emirate have successfully brought under control a fire that had earlier broken out in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ).
The incident was caused by falling debris after air defenses successfully intercepted a drone.
In a statement carried by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the media office said emergency response teams worked continuously around the clock to contain the fire, which did not result in any injuries.
The office also urged residents in the UAE to obtain information from official and approved sources in the country, stressing the importance of avoiding the circulation of rumors or unverified information.
