The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the deaths of two people following Israeli attacks targeting areas in the south of the country.
The Ministry of Health reported that "an Israeli enemy airstrike on a car in the town of Harouf, Nabatieh District, resulted in one death and a civilian was injured."
The ministry reported in a statement that "an Israeli enemy airstrike on a motorcycle in the town of Qleileh, Tyre District, resulted in one death."
The Israeli military announced that it had killed Zein al-Abidin Hussein Futouni, noting that he was "a commander in the anti-armor unit of Hezbollah's Radwan Force."
The Israeli military stated that in the first strike, it targeted the logistics officer in the party's Southern Front Command, and in the second strike, a member "who was attempting to rebuild the party's military capabilities."
