Former US President Donald Trump responded to Elon Musk's finalization of the Twitter takeover deal a few hours ago, saying: the leading social media platform is 'now in sane hands."

Trump expressed on Truth Social platform: "I am very happy that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no longer be run by Radical Left Lunatics and Maniacs that truly hate our country."

Previously, the CEO of car company Tesla revealed that he would lift Trump's Twitter ban that was imposed after the events of the US Capitol last year.

On his side, the Former US President didn't reveal his intention regarding making a comeback to the social media platform.

In the same context, Far-right users described the event as a sign of freedom as they believe that Musk would work on relaxing the restrictions on tweeting policy and account suspension terms.

Trump commented: "Twitter must now work hard to rid itself of all of the bots and fake accounts that have hurt it so badly. It will be much smaller, but better."

After his takeover, Musk fired Chief Executive Officer Parag Agrawal, Vijaya Gadde, the head of legal, policy and trust, and Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal.
