The promo of the Ramadan TV series “El Katiba 101” (Battalion 101), starring Asser Yassin and Amr Youssef, has been unveiled.
The 30-episode drama portrays the heroics of Battalion 101 and how they confronted the takfiri elements in Sinai.
Meanwhile, the cast also includes Fathy Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Salah Hosny, and Wafaa Amer.
" El Katiba 101" is scripted by Eyad Saleh, directed by Mohamed Salama, and produced by Synergy production company.
Youssef did not participate in Ramadan 2022 drama marathon due to a preoccupation with a number of his projects in the past period, including the TV series "Waed El Shaytan" and the play "Casanova", co-starring Hassan El-Raddad.
In the meantime, the actor awaiting the screening of his new movie "Shuqu", which is scheduled to be premiered next Eid Al-Fitr.
The film is starring Amina Khalil, Mohamed Mamdouh, Dina El-Sherbiny, and more.
