The first look at Egyptian stars Yasmin Abdelaziz and Ahmed Elawady's TV series "Darb Naar" (Gunfire) has been released.

The cast also includes Maged El Masry, Hoda Eletreby, Iman El Sayed, Badria Tolba, and others.

The series will also feature acclaimed actress Soheir El-Morshidy making her comeback to the small screen after four years of absence.

Director Mostafa Fekry is helming from a script by screenwriter Nasser Abdel Rahman.

"Darb Naar" is centered around Mohra (played by Abdelaziz) a woman from Shubra, and Jaber Abu Shadeed (Elawady) who comes from Sohag to Cairo to open a tire shop in Shubra.

Jaber meets Mahra, falls in love, and gets married. They grew their business, but their happy life takes a turn for the worse when they clash with a nefarious businessman (El Masry).

"Darb Naar" marks the actress’ third collaboration with husband Ahmed Elawady after 2021's TV series "Elly Maloush Kbeer" and “Lakher Nafas” in 2019.

It also witnesses Abdelaziz's first major role after suffering last year from a near-fatal health scare.

"Darb Naar" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon on "ON" and "ON Drama" TV channels.

Abdelaziz, born on January 16, 1980, is an Egyptian actress and former model.

She enrolled in the Modern Academy in Maadi and made her debut at the age of 13 in commercials, which paved the road to her true calling, acting.

Thereafter, Abdelaziz was nominated for roles in cinematic and television productions.

She made her acting debut in the 1998 TV series “Kot We Far”.
