TV Series "Ashghal Shaqa" Season 2 Begins Production

Production has begun on season 2 of Egyptian stars Asmaa Galal and Hesham Maged's TV series "Ashghal Shaqa".

Season one of "Ashghal Shaqa" screened during the first half of the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.

It consists of 15 episodes and was one of the most viewed shows during the holy month of Ramadan.

The show was renewed for season two in April.

Season 2 of "Ashghal Shaqa" sees Mohamed Mahmoud reprising his role as Dr. Ghandour, who specializes in more than one medical field, depending on the day of the week: one day he is a paediatrician, another he is a cardiologist, and the next he is a neurologist, and so forth.

Season 1 of "Ashghal Shaqa" also stars Sherine, Salwa Mohammad Ali, Mohamed Mahmoud, Rahma Ahmed Farag, Moustafa Gharieb, and more.

Khaled Diab directed the series from a script he co-wrote with Sherine Diab.

The plot revolves around a forensic pathologist Hamdy and TV presenter Yasmine having twins and soon discovering they can't handle things all by themselves.

They decided to hire a maid, a decision that proves to create more problems than they expected.
