Egyptian actress Salma Abu Deif's TV series "Aala Nesbet Moshahda" (Highest Viewership) has been renewed for season 2.
The cast also stars Enaam Salosa, Entesar, Mohamed Mahmoud, Ahmed Fahim, Layla Ahmed Zaher, and more.
It is scripted by Samar Taher, directed by Yasmine Ahmed Kamel, and produced by the E-Producers production company.
“Aala Nesbet Moshahda” consists of 16 episodes and marked Abu Deif's first lead role in a drama.
The series is centred around Shayma whose simple life has been changed forever when a video of her goes viral. She becomes an internet sensation overnight and soon discovers that fame comes at a steep price.
The drama succeeded greatly and was one of the most viewed shows screened during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
The new season will bring back the original cast and follow Shayma serving her prison sentence and release to a family who has been left devastated by the imprisonment of one of their members.
Season 2 of "Aala Nesbet Moshahda" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
