‎Regarding cultural cooperation, Şen mentioned yesterday's concert between Turkish and Egyptian musicians and composers at Cairo Opera House.

He also said that he participated in the Egyptian-African Tourism Forum that was sponsored by one of the Turkish hotels in Sharm El Sheikh, asserting that Egypt is one of the top destinations in Africa, therefore, Turkish tourism agents support the forum, and tourism in Egypt. The ambassador revealed that two newly opened hotels in Egypt cooperated with Turkish agents and corporations to equip the hotels with entertainment, kitchen, and hospitality devices.

‏Finally, ‎Şen underscored that Turkey will continue providing Gaza with humanitarian aid in cooperation with Egypt. He added that the deterioration of the security situation on the Palestinian borders caused a temporary halt in delivering aid to Gaza, asserting that there is no alternative for Egypt as a station to deliver the aid to Gaza now, in addition, 95% of the aid to Gaza was delivered through Rafah border, according to the UN.

‎The Turkish ambassador said that he hoped that the situation would improve soon to continue delivering aid to Gaza, asserting that Israel is responsible for the deterioration of the situation at the Palestinian Rafah border, calling Israel to withdraw from the Palestinian border, describing Israel's occupation of the Palestinian border is illegal. He added that the calls to Israel to end occupying the Palestinian border are joint Egyptian-Turkish calls.

‎Finally, he said that the exchanged senior visits between Egypt and Turkey are increasing, and these meetings will include discussing bilateral cooperation and coordination in common interest issues like the Palestinian crisis.
