A Turkish aid ship arrived at Arish Port this morning, carrying a large shipment of humanitarian supplies destined for the Gaza Strip.
This effort is part of Turkey’s ongoing humanitarian support for civilians affected by the current crisis in the region.
According to maritime sources, the ship is loaded with hundreds of tons of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials aimed at alleviating the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza.
The aid will be transported to the enclave through the Rafah border crossing under the supervision of the Egyptian Red Crescent and international humanitarian organizations.
The Turkish Embassy in Cairo expressed its appreciation for Egypt’s cooperation in facilitating the shipment’s arrival, reaffirming Turkey’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people.
It also emphasized the urgent need for a continuous and uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
This shipment is part of a series of aid deliveries Turkey has sent since the escalation of hostilities, amid growing international calls for increased humanitarian assistance to the besieged territory.
