Saudi Royal Adviser Turki Al-Sheikh threatened to sue Mohamed Ali who has been slamming the Egyptian state and its political and military leaderships since last month.
“It’s said that a contractor wants to play a star role, but he did not succeed…Unfortunately, he is an Egyptian living in Spain at the moment,”Turki Al-Sheikh wrote on his official Facebook account on Friday.
Since September 2, an unknown actor and contractor, Mohamed Ali, has begun to upload widespread video recordings on social media platforms.
He called for demonstrations against the Egyptian government and the Armed Forced Institution.
The Saudi chairman of General Authority for Entertainment stated that “As per being a Spanish Club owner and a holder of Spanish residency card, along with his defamations against me on Youtube and Facebook, I’m announcing that I’m going to take legal procedures against him through one of the most famous attorney offices in Spain.”
“I hope I can win this lawsuit…In this case he may be deported to his homebirth,” Turki Al-Shiekh added.

In September, 2017, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman appointed Turki Al-Sheikh as the new chairman of the General Sport Authority.
One year later, the Saudi King appointed Al-Sheikh as Chairman of General Entertainment Authority.
Al-Sheikh is famous for his cultural activism across the Middle East. He also gained experience in reshaping committees and entire organizations through relaunching sports in the kingdom.
On May 7, 2016, Saudi established The Saudi General Authority for Entertainment (GEA). It aims to nurture entertainment in all its forms, while also seeking to safeguard precious cultural heritage.
In response to his comments on Mohamed Ali, Egyptian and Arab social media fans expressed their pleasure of Al-Sheikh’s action.
“If you did so, all Ahly Sports Club’s fans will love you,” wrote a Twitter user.
