In continuation of Turkey's violation of the ceasefire resolution in Libya signed in Geneva, Ankara continues to transport terrorists and weapons to support militias.

Jamal Shalouf, head of the Silvium Foundation for Studies and Research in Libya, confirmed that Turkey continues to establish a military air bridge with the militias and their bases in Libya.

In a statement, it was announced that the Turkish Airbus A400M military cargo plane, code 221, was detected while landing at the Misrata Airport.

Shalouf revealed that this flight is considered the 33rd violation since the Libyan Military Committee signed the 5+5 ceasefire agreement in Geneva.

Turkey continues to violate the arms embargo imposed by the United Nations on Libya since 2011, as it provides Tripoli's government with equipment and mercenaries to confront the Libyan National Army.

The Turkish practices abort international efforts aimed at resolving the Libyan crisis, including the outcomes of Berlin conference, which called for monitoring the arms embargo, disarming militias and imposing sanctions on the party that violates the armistice.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced, in mid-November, that the total of mercenaries sent by Turkey to Libya amounted to 18,000 Syrians, in addition to 2,500 Tunisians, confirming that there were 350 children among them.

This week, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan submitted a memorandum to the Presidency of Parliament to extend the duties of his mercenaries in Libya for an additional 18 months.

Erdogan claimed that his country's interests in the Mediterranean Basin will be affected if the Libyan National Army resumes its campaign to cleanse the capital, Tripoli, of armed militias.

These Turkish claims go against the Libyan Military Committee agreement, signed in Geneva on October 23, which stipulate for the exit of Turkish forces from Libya, and the suspension of any dealings with any agreements concluded between the Fayez Al-Sarraj government in Tripoli and Turkey.
