Tunisia's Rahma Segni Brings 2022 Swimwear Collection at Carthage Fashion Days

Tunisian fashion designer and beauty queen Rahma Segni threw a dazzling fashion show of her latest swimwear collection 2022 at the 3rd edition of the Carthage Fashion Days (Journées Mode De Carthage JMC).

The Carthage Fashion Days event came to encourage the Tunisian fashion industry, especially for young designers who want to enter the field.

Encouraging Local Fashion Industry

Segni explained - in an exclusive statement to Sada El-Balad English (See) - that the target group of designers are young women from 20 to 40 years old, adding that most of the swimwear designs that come to Tunisia come from Italy and France, and this festival encourage fashion made with Tunisian hands to encourage local industry.

The fashion designer added that the fabric from which the swimwear is made is polyamide, which is the best type of waterproof fabrics for swimwear, used mainly in Italy.

She pointed out that the festival's jury were impressed by the designs and colors of the costumes that she presented, noting that she will display her new swimwear collection in many international arenas, such as Miami Swim Week in July , and another in New York in September, which has the largest events interested in the field of swimwear in the world.

Her Passion for Fashion

My passion for this field began two years ago after I participated as a guest of honor in several fashion shows in countries such as Italy and France, and got acquainted with many fashion designers who tough me designing.

I'm a graduate of the Faculty of Biotechnology in the pharmaceutical sector, however, my studies did not prevent her from being creative in the field of fashion.

"I started by taking courses at New York Convergence school fashion for 6 months and specialized in the field of swimwear at the hands of specialists, and will soon present clothing designs for men and children," she told fashion journalist Ahmed Adel.

Rahma Segni indicated that she will visit Egypt soon, as it is is a big market fro fashion industry that she likes to invest in.

It is noteworthy that Segni is Miss Rosa Gallica Ariana 2017, and Miss European and African look.
