On Wednesday, a 24-year-old Tunisian young man died in Gazzi prison in the Messina Province, northeast of the Italian island of Sicily.
Former MP Majdi al-Karbaei confirmed, in a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday, that the Tunisian young man had been arrested since February 20.
Al-Karbaei added that after the end of preliminary investigations, the prisoner was found dead, as he said.
He also deplored the lack of response from the Tunisian authorities on this subject.
