On Tuesday, electors from Texas gave Trump 40 votes during a meeting in Austin.
Although Donald Trump won the election on November 5, his victory was officially confirmed only on December 17.
This took place when the Electoral College convened nationwide as part of the constitutional process to formally elect the president.
The presidential candidate must secure 270 out of 538 electoral votes to win the US presidential election.
In the latest elections, Trump received 312 votes, while Vice President Kamala Harris secured 226.
