US President Donald Trump has warned Iran of the consequences of failing to reach an agreement in the coming period, emphasizing that Tehran will go through a "very rough time" if the ongoing negotiations stall.
Speaking to the French channel BFM, Trump stated that he does not know whether a deal will be reached soon, but stressed that "it is better for Iran to make a deal."
The US President's remarks come amid persistent tensions surrounding the Iranian nuclear file and the Strait of Hormuz crisis, alongside a division within the US administration between proponents of a diplomatic solution and advocates for military escalation against Tehran.
Meanwhile, Washington continues to emphasize that all options remain on the table, coinciding with mounting economic and military pressure on Iran.
