Former US President Donald Trump is expected to announce his presidential campaign for the 2024 elections, tonight.

Trump was previously advised by Republicans to wait for the elections of the Georgia senate runoff next month.

The expected announcement may take place at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida.

He worked to regain support to run for the Presidency elections, however, Republicans couldn't win the majority in the midterm elections.

Trump's Advisor Jason previously said: Miller said: “President Trump is going to announce on Tuesday that he is running for president.”

He added: “It’s gonna be a very professional, very buttoned-up announcement."

Miller said Trump told him, “there doesn’t need to be any question, of course I am running.”

Last week, Trump said that he will make a "very big statement" on November 15 at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, as he himself told his supporters at a political rally in Ohio.

"I'm going to be making a very big announcement on Tuesday, November 15 at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida," Trump said.

The former US president did not elaborate, noting that he did not want to "detract from tomorrow's very important, even critical election."

Previous reports said Trump is expected to announce his plans to run for president in 2024 after the midterm congressional elections.
