US President Donald Trump, speaking before the Israeli Knesset, expressed deep personal and political ties to Israel, revealing that his daughter, Ivanka Trump, converted to Judaism out of her profound admiration for the country and its people.
“My daughter Ivanka loves Israel so much that she converted to Judaism,” Trump told lawmakers, adding, “I didn’t know that would happen — but it shows how strong her connection to this nation truly is.”
Trump's remarks were made during a pivotal address amid ongoing regional efforts to finalize a ceasefire and reconstruction plan for Gaza. Reflecting on his administration’s legacy and future vision for the Middle East, Trump emphasized: “Disarming Hamas will be a top priority. There will no longer be any threat to Israel.”
He also addressed the issue of Iran, saying, “It would be wonderful if we could reach a peace agreement with Iran. Neutralizing Iran’s nuclear capabilities has already been a major milestone for the region.”
