US President Donald Trump stated that the new documents released by the US Department of Justice regarding billionaire Jeffrey Epstein "don't condemn me, they exonerate me," indicating that this is the opposite of what the radical left had hoped for.
During remarks to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said, "I haven't seen them myself, but some very important people have told me that they not only exonerate me, but also reveal a picture that is the exact opposite of what the radical left had hoped for."
Trump pointed out that "these documents, contrary to expectations, did not show anything against me."
He added that the documents "show that the American journalist Michael Wolff acted with Jeffrey Epstein with motives aimed at causing him political damage," referring to the allegations against him regarding the abuse of minors.
On Friday, the US Department of Justice began releasing a large batch of additional documents related to the disgraced sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
"Today we are releasing more than 3 million documents, including more than 2,000 videos and more than 180,000 photos," said U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch at a press conference.
