In an interview with Fox News, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he is not pleased with the decision to appoint Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Supreme Leader of Iran, expressing his concern regarding the impact of this choice on regional balance and international security.

Trump emphasized that U.S. policy toward Iran will continue to evaluate upcoming steps, stressing the importance of protecting the interests of the United States and its allies in the region.

Responding to the rise in fuel prices, Trump asserted, "Ships must show courage and proceed to cross the Strait of Hormuz; there is nothing to fear."

U.S. President noted that Iran had approximately 1,200 missiles aimed at Middle Eastern countries over the past four months. He pointed out that while all countries in the region previously feared Iran for good reason, they no longer do.

"We dealt Iran a very harsh blow in a way no other country could have," Trump stated, adding, "Iran still has some remaining capabilities."
